To be in compliance with Toledo Municipal Code Chapter 1767, all rental properties must be registered with the Lucas County Auditor by June 30th, 2021, or face possible fines/penalties.

This is not a new requirement, and most rental properties are already registered under Ohio Revised Code 5323. The City Ordinance piggybacks on the existing registry and provides enforcement.

Owners can register online or print and mail this form to the Lucas County Auditor’s office. This registration is publically available on AREIS, the Auditor’s Real Estate Information database.
